About
My name is Soobin Choi. I am a full-time researcher of Military Logistics Division at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA). My main purpose at KIDA is to design operations research and data mining tools for supporting military decision-making.
I earned an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University. Prior to that, I earned BS in Industrial Management Engineering and BS in Mathematics (double major) from Korea University.
I am broadly interested in large-scale nonlinear optimization and its applications to economics computation and machine learning.
